Presidents Email – December 17, 2018
New Saint Andrews College
Merry Christmas. Thanks to all of you who have generously given to New Saint Andrews College during the course of these five fundraising emails that I have sent your way since Thanksgiving. We are so grateful for your financial support of New Saint Andrews College. This last newsletter briefly features the growth of our educational outreach. We would love to have you give an end of the year donation to our Educational Outreach here: https://www.nsa.edu/buildnsa/. Additionally, we would like to introduce the last of our five partners in classical, Christian education: Wilson Hill Academy.
As part of our Build NSA Educational Outreach fundraising effort, we are extending beyond our undergraduate focus in order to also reach high school students as well. This high school outreach involves two annual events: our CALLED Conference and the ACCS National Honor Choir. Both of these endeavors are exciting, intense week-long events which will take place this coming summer. The CALLED Conference is held here in Moscow, and the Honor Choir is in Atlanta during the ACCS Repairing the Ruins Conference.
As the last of the year draws near, NSA would also like to recognize and thank Wilson Hill Academy (WHA) for its educational work. WHA exists to provide college-bound students with a classical Christian education founded upon and informed by a biblical worldview; equipping them to know, love, and practice that which is true, good and beautiful, and preparing them to live obedient, fruitful lives in the service of God and man. In order to do this, WHA is leveraging technology to allow master teachers who love God, love their subjects and love their students to overcome spatial and temporal distances in new and fresh ways, bringing its students a virtual classroom with windows on the world.
Thank you for your interest in New Saint Andrews College as well as Wilson Hill Academy. Please consider giving to NSA’s Educational Outreach. By doing so, you assist us as we invest in the lives of high school students as well as undergraduates. And have a Merry Christmas.
President of New Saint Andrews College
