CFO transition at NSA

Posted on December 23, 2015

EricBurnett-smallEffective January 5, Eric Burnett is officially stepping down from his role as NSA's Chief Financial Officer. We at the College are extremely thankful for the care, expertise, and wisdom that Eric has poured into his labors as CFO. He has faithfully served the College full time since 2003 and has blessed us in numerous ways, far above and beyond the requirements of his job description. Three of Eric's children are also NSA graduates.

Although we are sorry to lose Eric at the College, we are pleased to know that he will continue to serve our local community with his many gifts. Starting in January, Eric will be moving just around the corner to begin a new career in real estate with Key Properties here in Moscow. We wish him all the best in this new endeavor, and we want to express our deep gratitude to Eric for his years of service to all of us at NSA.

TomBrainerdWe are also very grateful to have found a worthy replacement to fill the role Eric leaves behind. Tom Brainerd, who served most recently as pastor of Trinity Reformed Church in Edgewood, New Mexico, will assume the position of CFO at the College on January 5. Tom brings with him many years of experience in finance, and we are pleased that he will be sharing his spiritual and professional gifts with us here at NSA. We look forward to having Tom and his family join our community.
