New Saint Andrews is committed to keeping the cost of tuition as low as possible for our students and their families. Because we have broken away from the dominant paradigm and refuse to accept federal financial aid, build dormitories, or throw money at intercollegiate athletics and sports arenas, we can focus exclusively on higher education and thereby keep our tuition at less than half the average private college tuition nationally.
Your Best Options to Save More Money
The tuition options below benefit students who apply early, commit themselves to attending New Saint Andrews by submitting their tuition agreements and $200 deposit, pay their tuition in full by July 1, and submit a $800 Fixed Tuition Deposit toward their final senior-year tuition payment.
Full-Time Tuition, 2008-2009
$8,500
payable in full by July 1
A student’s tuition agreement and accompanying $200 confirmation deposit must be received by posted deadline, and tuition paid in full by July 1.
Tuition Payment Plan Option
The payment plan (which includes a financing charge of 10 percent) allows tuition to be paid in five equal installments, payable at the beginning of July, September, November, January and March.
Tuition Agreements and Payments
New Saint Andrews depends on the student tuition payments made in a timely and orderly manner. The College provides a tuition payment agreement to each student prior to the beginning of the school year so that both the College and its students can plan their budgets accordingly. Tuition agreements distributed by the College's Business Office each spring must be returned by the posted deadline, accompanied by a $200 non-refundable confirmation deposit. Because the College limits enrollment, students who fail to submit their tuition agreements and deposits by the posted deadline may lose their privilege to enroll the following year and the College may give their place in the student body to another eligible applicant.
Special Tuition Rates and Fees
Special tuition rates and fees are assessed for course work done during the summer or by special arrangement outside the regular academic terms (e.g., during academic breaks) and are not included in or based on the students' regular academic year tuition rate.
