The Riot and the Dance
New Saint Andrews faculty and alumni set to release nature documentary in theaters nationwide
New Saint Andrews College’s own Dr. Gordon Wilson, Aaron Rench, and Nate “N.D.” Wilson’s new two-part nature documentary, The Riot and the Dance, has been announced for release in theaters around the US. Fathom Events has announced that it will be showing Part 1 on March 19 and tickets will be available starting January 12. The team is also looking forward to seeing the film released in over 600 theaters across the states.
Following Dr. Wilson’s biology textbook, The Riot and the Dance: Foundational Biology, he and Gorilla Poet Productions have teamed up to create a cinematically stunning nature documentary. From the website:
The Riot and the Dance is a two-part nature/science documentary, showcasing the vast and beautifully intricate planet on which we live. Produced in a fully cinematic style, the film presents a wide variety of ingeniously designed creatures from around the world in a way that will fascinate audiences of any age. Through this vividly powerful experience, the audience will develop a greater understanding of and appreciation for the Creator’s workmanship and personality.
Gorilla Poet Productions (Aaron Rench, N.D. Wilson) has an excellent track record in the documentary department with films like Notes from the Tilt-A-Whirl and Collision, as well as the movie The River Thief.
