Stokes: Consistent Atheists are Moral Nihilists [video 3]

Posted on March 1, 2016

Dr. Mitch Stokes, NSA's Senior Fellow of Philosophy is the author of the new book, How to Be an (A)theist. Here, in the third of a series of short videos, he explains that "every consistent atheist ought to be a moral nihilist. And some are. But it's very few, and those who are don’t generally live out their nihilism. I’ve just never seen anybody live out a consistent nihilism—a sort of 'anything goes' morality. There’s just not a consistency there. It would be ugly. But at least it would be honest."
