Over 20 individuals from NSA—including two faculty members, their spouses, and even some of their children—participated in the Montana Spartan race on May 9-10.

The "St. Andies" team placed 6th among over 100 teams in the Open Sprint, a ~5 mile trail race with 15 different obstacles, including multiple rope- and wall-climbs, log-carrying, a 100-yard barb-wire crawl, and a fire-hurdle for the finish.

NSA junior Heather Wilson finished 1st place in her age group and 2nd place for women overall, and junior Kanaan Trotter finished 3rd in his age group and 15th place overall. In the Open "Beast" race, a ~15 mile race with over 20 obstacles, NSA sophomore James Engerbretsen finished 1st in his age group and 8th overall.

Well done, NSA Spartans!
