Presidents Email – June 15, 2018
Welcome to my June update:
Summer is here, yet we are already gearing up for August. No rest for the wicked – that is, once my family and I get back from our vacation next week. I truly hope you have a good summer as well.
Our freshmen enrollment is the highest it’s been in five years, and we are grateful to God for this incoming class. Don’t be alarmed, we still have a couple of spots available; please click here to apply.
As you may know, we have reorganized our graduate programs and added a Master of Fine Arts in Writing (Directed by N.D. Wilson). For more information regarding our MA in Theology and Letters, our MSt. in Classical Christian Studies, and our new MFA in Writing, visit this landing page.
At the recent Grace Agenda conference I gave a talk about Higher Education & The Next Generation’s Culture War. If you missed it, or you’d like to share it with someone else, you’ll find it here.
The spring edition of the Commons, in which we honor our 2018 graduates, can be seen here: https://joom.ag/cMuY
We’ve created a special website where students, alums and employers can Connect with each other. You can now post positions, find personality tests, submit blog posts, get (or give) advice, get help as you create a resume – all on one site. Go to www.connect.nsa.edu.
Related to this, NSA’s current job openings are found here. We have several positions available, and would appreciate it if you would share this site with any qualified candidates.
The summer schedule is finally upon us. Please visit the links below; email us at email@example.com if you have any questions.
1) My wife and I, along with a number of NSA faculty, will speak at the June ACCS Conference in Dallas; please stop by one of our booths and say hello if you attend the conference. Also, over 70 students from around the nation will be performing Friday June 22nd in the first ever ACCS National Honor Choir, under the direction of our own Dr. David Erb.
2) CALLED Conference: Last day to register is July 1st! Over 100 kids (ages 14 to 19) from all over the US will be encouraged and challenged to become cultural leaders at this week-long conference. It will be hosted here in Moscow the week of July 16th through the 20th by NSA, and features several nationally known speakers. Click here to register.
3) Music Camp is the week of July 9-July 14th, 2018. For more information, or to register, please see our website at: https://music.nsa.edu/music-camp/#
4) Chenaniah Summer Music Institute: This adult, Master’s level program includes Christian Kodaly training, and will be held July 23-August 3rd. I highly recommend it for music teachers. Visit here for more details: https://music.nsa.edu/csmi/
Build Campaign Update
With the support received from our generous donors during our Build campaign, we have begun demolition in our new building. Please consider making a donation to our Campus fund; we need to get ready for that big freshman class who will join us in August. As always, your support and prayers give us encouragement as we look forward to another year of faithful service to the students God has brought here to NSA.
