Posted on October 3, 2014

The Collegium Musicum Ensemble at New Saint Andrews College will hit the road over Fall Break and make nine stops during a  900-mile, eight-day choir tour through the Pacific Northwest.

Twelve singers, two instrumentalists, and their conductor, Dr. David R. Erb will present concerts and workshops at schools and churches. Tour includes evening concerts in Wenatchee, WA (Oct. 11), Kirkland, WA (Oct. 12), Lynden (Oct. 13), Vancouver, WA (Oct. 15), Oregon City (Oct. 16), and Moscow, ID (Oct. 18).

The concert program entitled Sing for Joy! is a repertoire taken from the various music activities in the life of the College during the 2014-15 school year: concerts, recitals, the freshmen music course, convocation, commencement, worship, etc.  Selections include O Magnum Mysterium by Victoria, Sicut Cervus by Palestrina, To Jordan Came our Lord by Bach, and excerpts from Mozart’s Requiem.
