Nathan Wilson is a 1999 graduate of New Saint Andrews College. He also holds a Master’s degree in Liberal Arts from Saint John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland (2001). He served as a part-time Lecturer from 2001-2004, and was promoted to Fellow in fall 2004. Mr. Wilson is the author of several Random House titles, including the 100 Cupboards trilogy and Leepike Ridge. He is also a film producer and screenwriter, and is in the midst of producing a motion picture to be released later this year. Mr. Wilson is also serves as the managing editor for Credenda/Agenda magazine. He has recently published short fiction in both The Chattahoochee Review and Esquire magazine. In 2005 he published an essay in Books & Culture entitled “Father Brown Fakes the Shroud”. The piece applied the paradigm analysis of G.K. Chesteron’s literary detective, Father Brown, to the mystery of the Shroud of Turin. The essay (and accompanying experiment) garnered him international attention and was featured in multiple news sources, including Discovery Channel News, ABC’s World News Tonight, Good Morning America, Der Spiegel, and even a segment in Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. Images from his experiment are available at shadowshroud.com. He has written two novella-length satires of evangelical apocalyptic fiction (Right Behind and Supergeddon). Nathan and his wife Heather have four children.
