Dr. Merkle to speak in Fullerton, California, Nov. 1

If you are in or near Fullerton California, we invite you to come hear Dr. Ben Merkle, President of New Saint Andrews College, speak at Veritas Classical Academy this coming Tuesday, November 1.

 

Dr. Merkle will be discussing the blessings of a K–12 classical Christian education. This talk is intended to be an encouragement to teachers, parents, and students do the hard work of pursuing a faithful education. It may also be of interest to prospective families who would like to learn more about classical Christian education.

 

We welcome you to attend the event on Tuesday, November 1, at 6:30 p.m. at Veritas Classical Academy, 1601 W. Malvern Ave., Fullerton, CA 92833.

 


Dr. Ben Merkle, fellow of theology and President of New Saint Andrews College, holds a D.Phil. in Oriental Studes and an M.St. in Jewish Studies from Oxford University, England. Dr. Merkle is the author of The White Horse King: The Life of Alfred the Great and Defending the Trinity in the Reformed Palatinate: The Elohistae. Dr. Merkle has served as a minister at Christ Church, Moscow. He has taught at New Saint Andrews for over a decade, and in 2015, Dr. Merkle was promoted to the office of President.
