Mr. McIntosh is a Fellow of Humanities and coordinator of the College's junior-year, team-taught, integrated humanities course, Traditio Occidentis.
Mr. McIntosh joined the College faculty in 2007 after pursuing his M.A. (2004) and doctoral studies in philosophy at the University of Dallas. He received his B.A. in Philsophy, from University of Idaho in May 2001.
His doctoral dissertation is on the philosophical perspectives J.R.R. Tolkien.
Mr. McIntosh and wife Annie have two girls and are expecting a third child in Spring 2008.
